@fsnow55: Thanks for your comments here. I haven't had time yet to update this page for iPage's new changes.. You are correct - they're using SimpleScripts now.

Thanks for helping us all out with the FTP issue.

Be well

I wonder if the folks that left comments here work for ipage or have tried the tutorial? the tutorial here is on a procedure (1-click installer) that is NO LONGER supported in ipage! Instead, it's supported via simplescripts ... I know because I just started a new ipage acct and am having trouble installing wordpress via simplescripts (FTP fail)

a few years ago, when blogging was an uprising star on the industry of the web, wordpress became so famous it was like michael jordan's first all star game. After a few years after the birth of wordpress, domain hosting sites started a wordpress site transfer in which a wordpress site from it's namesake website can make a transfer to a domain bought from a domain host. of course, one of the website who pioneered this is ipage. it is easy to transfer the whole wordpress website to your own website. you just have to trust ipage to do the job for you.

Our Company has been subscribed to iPage’s web hosting for quite a while now, and one of the reason why we are still subscribed to them is that they have an easy installation of Wordpress. I need Wordpress as our company’s blog site. It’s a good thing that iPage is connected with Wordpress; it makes our work a lot easier. It helped our clients be easy connected with us. We have been subscribed with iPage for months now, and as far as I know, our business is still at shape because of their services.

Wow, it was really a good thing that my secretary told me to choose iPage as my web host provider. Since I’m not really familiar with computer stuff, I wasn’t really sure which web host was really the best. Anyway, I’ve always been a Wordpress user. In fact, I’ve been using it for three years now. And now that I have my own business already, the combination of iPage and Wordpress really works for me!
