I don’t know where all of the happy customers came from but we just severed our relationship with them and it was WAY overdue. This is the only hosting site that I have ever seen where I had to call for any of my updates to be administered. Nothing would refresh on my own. Email exchange were down more than any other exchange I have ever been a part of. Don’t get me started on the overseas support. Call Arizona and go thru the sales dept here in the US is the only way you can get support period. The US support team really tries their best and are willing to try and go the extra mile, unfortunately they have a horrific product to support. Example. I did my site on a publisher that THEY stopped using and after that I literally received no support for it nor was I ever offered a upgrade path or a offer from them to upload it to a newer and or robust package to help us. I was left stranded with a site I could not update on my own let alone get any help. The 1st thing overseas support does after you identify yourself is “can I please put you on hold” regardless if you say yes or no. The worst overseas support EVER. Also, if you care about having an ftp site for customers to access, forget having the ability to create passwords for each or specific client. You get one password and that is it. And don’t ever get me started on passwords. Almost guaranteed each time you go to log in they have changed your passwords and give you an excuse each and every time why it happened. I am not kidding anyone; it happened ALL OF THE TIME! Save your money. We have switched now, I pray our new host is 1 tenth better then don’t start logic and it will be a HUGE improvement. Save yourself headaches from your boss calling you a 100 times a month when he can’t log in or update a single item without calling support to refresh your site for you.
I would like to share with you point 13 of their Ts&Cs, which allows them to delete your files and suspend your account at any time at their sole discression:

When I first used startlogic.com 4 years ago, I found them to be reliable, but in the past year, since their migration to new servers, their reliability has substantially declined. I am extremely unhappy with them, and cannot get satisfactory responses from their customer service reps. I am a web developer who was recommending them to clients, but am no longer doing so due to their poor customer service and inability to respond to simple FTP issues.

their vdeck control panel is better than other hosts’ vdecks. they made it custom and i have an easier time with the way it’s laid out at startlogic. GREAT hosting here.
